This one was named after a large truffle. Truffle hunters in area call these large truffles – jackpot or joker. Well, now you know that too.

Why is the mascot a dog?
Because, despite popular opinion, truffles are not found by truffle hunters, but by truffle hunting dogs. It could have been a pig, but the pig union in Italy fought that pigs are no longer used in the search for truffles. We just wanted to avoid any problems in the future, who knows what the CTPU (Croatian Truffle Pigs Union) will decide ror themselves. Dogs are a little less politically engaged.
Is is a special breed?
No, any dog can found the truffles. But only if is fairly paid.
